The Platypus system was designed to be extended.
Platypus uses industry standards such as Microsoft SQL Server and Crystal Reports1 to provide access to data not included in the Platypus client. Add features like Platypus Plug-ins, open source web packages and an API for creating Platypus customer accounts, payments and provisioning and the possibilities are endless.
Custom Reports
Our team specializes in creating Custom Reports that show the data that is important to your business. Modify an existing report to add additional data or commission a report to be created from data that is custom to your system, all at an expense that is typically less than purchasing Crystal Reports!
Plug-ins
The Platypus client can be extended via Plug-ins. These custom pieces of code can be used to modify existing functionality such as changing the color of the customer form based on your criteria or to add additional functionality such as mini-subsystems which can be accessed directly from the Platypus menu.
