Starting with Platypus 7, the Wombat Helpdesk module is a standard part of Platypus and is no longer available as a standalone option. Tighter integration provides additional functionality that blurs the line between billing and customer care. New features will include tickets on services, enhanced scheduling and more.
Platypus pricing is based on a tiered monthly subscription. What you pay is based on the number of active customer records and you can run Platypus on as many client computers as you want. As your business grows into the next tier, no upgrades are required. You simply purchase the additional capability to handle the additional records. Platypus communicates with a subscription server to determine which subscription has been purchased and automatically enables whichever features have been purchased.
